The QM2040, QM-4044 and QM-4044T are medium-sized automatic pick and place machine designed for stand-alone or table-top use, equipped with a comprehensive vision inspection system. It features two or four upward-looking fly cameras for small parts and one precision camera for handling chips. These models have been offered in the SMTmax product line to provide high-speed operation.
With a 40/44-feeder capacity and a working area of 12" x 9" or 13" x 10", along with two or four picking and placing heads, it offers a production rate of 2500 to 4000 (QM2040) or 6000 to 7000 components per hour (PPH). This makes it an ideal choice for customers looking to bring their assembly processes in-house. The QM 4044 /4044T machine comes with an internal conveyor system that can be integrated into a full SMT assembly line.
The QM2040 or QM-4044/QM-4044T also boast an automatic selection feature for pick and place shortest paths. They are equipped with both pneumatic and electric feeder ports, and the hardware and software are provided by SMTmax at our Chino, California facility. This allows for potential customization to suit unique handling requirements and applications.
