Rotors

The Mini Centrifuge comes with two rotors: one for microtubes and one for 0.2ml PCR strip tubes. Both rotors are designed for applications requiring relatively low g-forces, such as micro-filtration, cell separation and quick spin-downs of tube walls. The 6 x 1.5/2.0ml rotor is designed to centrifuge up to six individual 1.5/2.0ml plastic microcentrifuge tubes. Using the adaptors supplied with the unit, it can also accommodate 0.5ml and 0.2ml tubes. The strip tube rotor is designed to centrifuge 2 x 8-well 0.2ml strip tubes. It can also accommodate up to 16 individual 0.2ml tubes. These rotors are interchangeable and easily exchanged by hand.
